Tapes and Glue
With such a wide range, choosing the right tape is not always easy. Extra reinforced or not? Which type of glue for the right adhesion? Is quiet unrolling a crtiterium? And the weight of the packaging is also an important consideration that determines the choice.
Tape / Adhesive tape consists of:
Material / carrier:
- PVC
- PP
- Unreinforced paper
- Paper v.z.v. glass fibre threads for reinforcement (longitudinal cross (diamond) reinforced)
Adhesive layer:
- Rubbersolvent = natural rubber
- Hotmelt = synthetic rubber
- Acrylic = water-based
