Grass paper boxes

Grass paper is uniquely natural and consists of sun-dried grass with a proportion of waste paper. This is done using green cuttings, which grow on areas that are not used for agriculture anyway and are therefore the perfect raw material. Don't worry, that doesn't mean this grass is withheld from animals! An “agriculturally unused area” is exactly what it sounds like: it is neither used for agriculture nor for animal feed - so it is just pasture. The grass for cardboard boxes grows in local pastures near the processing paper mills - this saves transportation routes and costs, which are known to be considerable with wood. The best thing about it: grass also grows much faster than wood!

Using grass reduces the demand for wood. Moreover, grass grows almost everywhere and can be harvested/mowed several times a year. This makes it one of the renewable resources with the fastest growth cycle.

Using grass (instead of wood) saves up to 65% in water, up to 30% in energy and up to 50% in CO2 emissions during production.
